HELLO! I'm Frances

Hi everyone! I am so glad you found us. My name is Frances and I love challenge blogs, which is precisely why Aphra and I decided to start a la Carte. I have been scrapbooking since high school, but became obsessed after my first child was born almost 8 years ago...so sad! I started like everyone else with Creative Memories, and then...I met Aphra! She opened my eyes and 20 scrapbooks later, I love scrapbooking more today than when I started. My style changes on a layout by layout basis. I usually begin the process by searching for inspiration and running from there. There are a few things that you will see time and time again, such as hand or machine stitching, doodling, buttons, and lots of patterned paper.
